Lord of Lighting and Thunder, Lady of Wind and Rain

The leading edge of Hurricane Arthur is a band of very active thunderstorms. I went out to watch the lightening for a while. Utterly spectacular!

    • Thanks. 🙂 It wasn’t bad here. More like a strong storm. I slept through most of it. Along the coast there were some trees down, power outages and storm surge, but no flooding, major damage or deaths. This morning the only “damage” I saw here were some leaves and a couple knocked over trashcans.

      We will rebuild! 😉

      Have a happy Independance Day!

      • It was not bad here either. The only problem was that I went to a Scottish Festival on July 5th with my uncle and aunt when it was still very windy. The tent kept falling down on my head. All four tent poles ended up bent and the whole thing had to be scrapped. However, if that is the worst that happened, I am very lucky. I was without power for a week after Sandy. When the electricity comes back on, you just want to hug the lights.
