(And apparently, this woman is a minister as well.)

Reminds me of a story my brother once told me about one of the paramedics he worked with years ago.

They concerned my brother privately.

Co-worker: “I have to tell you something really important. This is really…it’s hard for me to say.”

My Brother (very concerned): “What?”

Co-worker: “I’m Gay.”

My brother (relieved): “Shit, I thought you were going to tell me you killed someone. We all knew. We figured you knew we knew. Whatever. You want to have Thankgiving dinner at my place since we’re working that shift? We can just take the truck there and keep our radios on.”

Sometimes the best reaction is a non-reaction.
